Why I Became A Real Estate Agent

For the longest time, I had NO idea how to answer the frequently asked question “Why did you become a real estate agent?”

I actually would come up with something every time. Something that I loved about the job. “Well, there is so much flexibility with my schedule… I am my own boss”, etc.

When I actually sat down to reflect and spoke my story out loud.. I realized that there is so much more to it than I thought. I needed a freedom that my life at the time was lacking. Without too much detail, my relationship at the time was suffocating in every way. I wasn’t allowed to be myself. I couldn’t talk to anyone. I couldn’t do anything.

Becoming a real estate agent gave me freedom. My subconscious knew that freedom was what my life was lacking… and it drove me to become my very own boss in the real estate world.

Of course, that led to the end of that toxic and draining relationship.
